Biography
A.B.V. Kiran Kumar is currently working as an Assistant Professor of Nanotechnology at Amity University, India with eight years research experience on nanomaterials for various applications such as water purification, food packaging, drug delivery, wound healing applications, and Silver Nanowires/GO based transparent electrodes. He has completed his PhD with specialization in Synthetic organic chemistry from Department of Chemistry, Sri Krishnadevaraya University, India in 2007 on the synthesis of different kinds of (E) and (Z) -Athens bearing sulfoxide, sulfone functionalities, also prepared heterocyclic compounds (isoxazolines and their derivatives) by 1,3- cycloaddition reactions using sulfones and their antimicrobial applications. He has also worked on nano composite materials for display applications and antimicrobial membranes incorporating nanparticles, synthesis and development of MRI contrast agents, development off flexible transparent conducting films to replace ITO with nanowires and conducting polymers for OLED and OPV applications. He is also serving as a reviewer for various RSC journals.
